We Become

In the halls of time we stand in tribute to our Spirits
Holding true to our values in the face of challenge,
We don’t just survive – we thrive. In living, we become Ourselves

Lovely bit of prose :) I love the idea of In the halls of time we stand in tribute to our Spirits.

Why thank you! Yeah, I liked that idea too – it came all at once, like those things sometimes do…I didn’t even know what it meant at first, but it was so insistent I wrote it down as the first line. I liked where it ended up going!

Wow, I love this! It so simply states a complex concept and I especially like the encouraging spirit of the piece.

Thank you! :D I was really surprised at how much fit in there, myself! I’m liking the 33 words cap I put on myself, just to see if I could do it…stretches.

Reminds me of the quote from Poe, something along the lines of, “I’m sorry this letter’s so long – I didn’t have time to make it shorter.”

I love that you took it from mere survival to thriving.
